James L. Corrigan

Dartmouth- James L. Corrigan age 85, died peacefully Saturday, December 1, 2012 at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Louise F.(Reed)Corrigan of Dartmouth. Mr. Corrigan was the loving father of Stephan Corrigan and his wife Sherry of Fall River, Deborah Corrigan of Dartmouth, Bruce Corrigan and his wife Tina of Georgia, and Douglas Corrigan and his wife Leona of Acushnet, loving grandfather of Matthew, Katie, Andrew, Danny, and Jillian. He was the brother of the late Walter Corrigan, Florence Bernard, and Mae DeCicco.
James was born in New Bedford, son of the late Emma (Dunkerly) and Thomas Corrigan. He was a self-employed Salesman, was a member of the Elks where he would raise money for Veterans, and also enjoyed raising money for Johns Hopkins Childrens Hospital. Mr Corrigan also served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
In accordance with his wishes Mr. Corrigan will be Cremated. Arrangements are by Perry Funeral Home. A donation in his name can be made to Community Nurse and Hospice Care P.O. Box 751 Fairhaven, Ma 02719-0831.
