Dolores Martin

New Bedford – Dolores (Fernandes) Martin, age 83, died Friday, November 9, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Martin whom passed Oct 3, 2009. Mrs. Martin was the loving sister of 3 brothers: Americo Fernandes of New Bedford, the late John Fernandes and the late Ernest Fernandes. She was also survived by 1 nephew: Brian Fernandes of New Bedford; 1 niece Cynthia Gajewski of Connecticut; and her beloved friend Helder Medeiros of Acushnet.
Dolores was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Maria (Marcelino) and Jose Fernandes. She was a factory worker at Mar-Lil Enterprises.
