Angelina "Angie" L. Medeiros

New Bedford – Angelina “Angie” L. Medeiros, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 with her family by her side at Hallmark Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Gilbert A. “Baldy” Medeiros. She is survived by her children Donna M. Medeiros and her companion Wayne Gagnon, Jan P. Paim and her husband Bruce, Nancy A. DeSousa and her husband Richard, Tom D. Medeiros and his wife Stephanie, and the late Wayne G. Medeiros. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Angelina was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Angelina was the daughter of the late Rose (Vieira) and Joaquim Cruz. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of the South End Golden Agers and Loyal Order of the Moose.
Angelina’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Friday at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial at Rural Cemetery to follow. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
