Maria C. Oliveira

Maria C. Oliveira passed away June 10, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel B. Oliveira, who passed away 1983. She was the Aunt of Maria C. Couto of S. Dartmouth, Gloria V. Couto of S. Dartmouth and Jose M. Vieira of New Bedford. She was the great Aunt of Lisa Vieira. She was the sister-in-law of Paul, Antonio and Joao Oliveira.

Mrs. Oliveira was born in St. Michael, Azores Portugal(Ribeiro Quente), daughter of the late Manuel and Maria(Linhares) Vieira. She lived in this area since 1957. Mrs. Oliveira worked as a Stitcher at the Beadspread Mill.

The Funeral Mass will be Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30am. Family and Friends are invited. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will Friday, June 11, 2004 from 6-9pm.
