Matthias D. Perry

Acushnet—Matthias D. Perry died June 6, 2004 He was the husband of the late Alice (Sylvia) Perry. He was the father of Norma Reinowski of New Jersey, Henry Perry of Dartmouth, Harold Perry of Taunton, Joan Stallings of New Hampshire, Richard Perry of Dartmouth, and Diane Dolfi of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his sisters Myra Pereira, Sarah Araujo, Cecelia Perry, Mabel Duarte, Betty Simpkin, Daisy Dias, and Delores Kuhn, a brother Abraham Perry. He was the brother of the late Saulte, Gerald, and Rudolph Perry, and Clara Delaney. He is survived by 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mr. Perry was the son of the late Louis and Maria (Morais) Perry. He immigrated to this country when he was 8 years old. He was a carpenter with the Carpenter’s Union. He owned and operated Vincent’s Farm Stand in Fairhaven, MA.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday June 8th from 5-8 P.M. The funeral will be Wednesday June 9th at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 9 A.M. with Services at The Seventh Day Adventist Church on Rockdale Ave at 10:30 A.M.
