Ernestine Dinis

Hollywood FL – Ernestine Dinis of Hollywood FL, formerly of New Bedford died peacefully on Saturday September 22, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Fernando Dinis to whom she was married to for 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Rosaline (Ferreira) and Ernest Macedo.

She loved all her cousins from the Macedo and Ferreira families. She was formerly employed by the Harvard University Medical School after which she retired to Florida. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Church Club. She was a Rosary maker “arts and crafts” of which she took great pleasure in doing.

She loved her husband to say “It’s nice to understand but also nice to be understood”.
Her graveside service will be held Thursday September 27 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery Chapel 664 Allen St. New Bedford, MA. Arrangenments are by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St., New Bedford.
