Eleanor H. Murray

New Bedford – Eleanor H. Murray, age 95, passed away on Sunday, September 9th at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. She is the beloved wife of the late Robert Crapo Howland Sr. and George Murray
Mrs. Murray is survived by her loving children son Robert C. Howland Jr. husband of Noreen of Dartmouth, and daughter Lorraine Berube of Middleboro. She was also survived 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as two nieces.

Mrs. Murray was the daughter of the late Victor Costa and the late Mary (Neville) Costa. She is also the sister of the late Robert Costa and Eileen Costa She was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all of her life. Eleanor was a House Mother at St. Luke’s Hospital until her retirement.
