Theresa (Baptista) Goulart

Theresa (Baptista) Goulart, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 5 at Sacred Heart Home in New Bedford. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Goulart whom passed in 2009.
Mrs. Goulart was survived by her loving children: two sons Michael Goulart husband of Karen of Fairhaven, Wayne J. Goulart, his companion Sue Daniels of New Bedford, and her daughter Kathleen Oliveira and her husband Tony of Fall River . She was also survived by her brother John Baptista of San Jose, California and sister, Cecilia Gibbs of California. Mrs. Goulart has five grandchildren: Jennifer, Andrew, Sara, Brett, Sophie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Goulart was the daughter of the late Mary (Pimentel) Baptista and the late Manuel Baptista. She was born in Acushnet and has lived in this area all of her life. Theresa was a clerk of the election commission for the City of New Bedford until her retirement.
The family of Theresa Goulart would like to thank the staff of the St. Michaels unit at the Sacred Heart Nursing Home for their care.
