Mark Castonguay

New Bedford – Mark Castonguay, age 52 years, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 unexpectedly at home. He was the beloved husband of Kim (Cabral) Castonguay of New Bedford. Mr. Castonguay was the loving father of Talia and Jason Pelletier both of Fall River. He was also the loving stepfather of Melissa Cabral, David Cabral and Katie Hallett all of New Bedford. Mr. Castonguay was survivied by 4 loving grandchildren; Aaliyah Hallett, Kaydynn Cabral, Chase Thibeault and Jaelyn Caldas. He is also survived by 2 aunts Evelyn Cabral and Corrine Gomez both of Fall River, and uncle Billy Bowden of Fall River.

Mr. Castonguay was raised by his late grandparents Hannah and Joseph Castonguay. He was the son of Jacqueline (Merkt) He was born in Fall River and lived in the New Bedford area all of his life.
He was a member of the Senhor de Pedra Club of New Bedford. Mark loved riding his motorcycle “Annie”, fishing and entertaining his many friends

Mr. Castonguay’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Saturday at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 8:45 A.M. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery #2. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
