Jesuina Almeida Henriques

Dartmouth- Jesuina Almeida Henriques, 79 of North Dartmouth, died on Wednesday morning, August 22nd after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas Henriques. Jesuina was the loving mother of Robert Michael Henriques husband of Sharon of Ocala, Florida and Jane (Henriques) Doherty wife of Brian of Leesburg, Virginia. She is also survived by her four beautiful grandchildren Morgan, Rachel and Nicholas Henriques; and Kathryn Doherty.

Mrs. Henriques was the daughter of the late Julia and John Almeida Sr. and sister of the late John Almeida Jr. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all her life. Jesuina was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dartmouth and a proud Graduate of Holy Family High School.

Mrs. Henriques’ funeral by the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. will be Monday at 8:45 A.M., Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Church at 10 A.M. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-7 P.M. Flowers are acceptable or donations can be made in Jessie’s memory to the Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library, 175 N. Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02742.
