Nelson Vega Lugo passed away May 7, 2004 @ Boston Medical Center . He was the beloved father of Anita Vega of New Bedford, Jorge Vega of New Bedford, Benlinda (Alvarez) Vega of Revere, Ma. , Nelson Vega of New Bedford, Wanda (Rojas) Vega, New Bedford, Ida Vega, New Bedford, David Vega, New Bedford, Peter Vega, New Bedford, and the late Luz Cielito Vega.

Mr. Vega was born in Ensenada, Puerto Rico, where he worked as a laborer.

His Services will be held Thursday, May 20, 2004 @ 11:00am @ The Perry Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited. Burial will follow @ St. John’s Cemetery in New Bedford. Visiting will be from 9-11am prior to the Service on Thursday.
