Maria Eduarda Deoliveira

New Bedford – Maria Eduarda deOliveira, age 80 years, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at home. Mrs. deOliveira was the beloved wife of the late Norberto deOliveira. Maria was the loving mother of Maria A. deOliveira and Rui Paulo DeOliveira husband of Durvalina both of New Bedford, Norberto A. deOliveira husband of Margaret of Rochester and Jose F. DeOliveira husband of Delores of Acushnet. She was the sister of Antonio Benjamin of St. Michael, Azores, Joao Duarte and Mario J. Botelho both of New Bedford. Maria is also survived by her 8 grandchildren Courtney, Brenden, Andrew, Wesley, Nadia, Serena, Fayth, Elianna and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. deOliveira was the daughter of the late Maria doCarmo Botelho and Antonio Duarte Sousa Botelho. She was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal and has lived in this area since 1969. Maria was employed as a seamstress at Mar-Li and several other companies.
>Mrs. deOliveira’s funeral will be Friday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Please Omit Flowers.
