Ceceila Costa

Dartmouth – Ceceilia Costa, age 86, passed away at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth on Wednesday July 25, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Costa. Mrs. Costa was the loving mother of Cynthia Tetreault wife of Bruce of Dartmouth, Catherine Carvalho of Dartmouth and the late James E. Costa. Ceceilia is also survived by her grandchildren Jamie Carvalho, Benjamin Carvalho, Jessica DeMello, Janessa Tetreault, Jennifer Tetreault and Jason Tetreault and also her great-grandchildren Hunter Carvalho, Finnegan Tetreault, Loxley Tetreault and Kasey-Lynne Tetreault.

Mrs. Costa was the daughter of the late Frances (Perreira) and John Souza Dias. She was born in Dartmouth and has lived in this area all her life. Mrs. Costa was a Child Care Provider for many years.
Mrs. Costas’ funeral will be Saturday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Marys Church in Dartmouth at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday evening from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
