Elizabeth P. Tavares

New Bedford – Elizabeth P. Tavares, age 68, passed away at Savoy Nursing Center on Friday, July 13, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late James Tavares. Mrs. Tavares was the aunt of Robin Dyllon, Karen Davis and Cristy Flores.
Mrs. Tavares was the daughter of the late Madeline Mary (Dunn) and Nathan Scott Howard. She was born in Newton, MA. and has lived in this area most of her life. Elizabeth worked as a customer service representative for Blue Cross.
Mrs. Tavares’ funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Tuesday at 9:45 A.M. with religious services beginning at 11 A.M., Burial will be at St. John Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited. Visiting hour is prior to the services.
