Antonio Gonsalves

Fall River – Antonio Lawrence (Abreu) Gonsalves, age 52, passed away unexpectedly, at home on Monday June 25, 2012. Antonio was the son of the late Antonio Abreu and Leonora Gonsalves, Father of Robbie and Jessica, and brother of Leonora Reed, Rosemarie Forsblom, Doreen Gonsalves of New Bedford John Gonsalves of Rochester, Darleen Nunes of Acushnet, and Arnold Gonsalves of Bristol RI. Antonio was the stepbrother of Joseph and Lawrence Gonsalves both of New Bedford. He was also the brother of the late Robert Gonsalves, and is survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Antonio was born in New Bedford. He worked as a machine operator for many years.

Antonio’s funeral mass to which relatives and friends are invited to will be celebrated on Tuesday July 10 at 10:00 A.M., at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Church. Burial of his cremains will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are thru the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford Ma.
