Georgiana Sylvia

New Bedford - Georgiana R. (Quintino) Sylvia, 95, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at New Bedford Health Care Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Camillo and the late James Sylvia. Georgiana was the loving mother of Robert Camillo of Dartmouth, Donald Camillo of Wethersfield, CT and Janice Costolo of Woodstock, GA. Mrs. Sylvia was the sister of Elvira Carvalho of Fairhaven and Mary Souza of New Bedford. Georgiana is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sylvia was a daughter of the late Mary (Motta) and Manuel Quintino. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in this area all her life. Georgiana was a homemaker. Mrs. Sylvia was a former member of both The Moose and Elks Lodge.

Mrs. Sylvia’s funeral will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Saturday, Services at 9:00A.M. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday, from 5-8 P.M.
