Jose C. Geral

Assonet – Jose C. Geral, age 101, died Monday, June 11, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital. Mr. Geral was the beloved husband of Fernandina (Sousa) Geral. Jose is the beloved father of Margaret D'Alfonso wife of Mario of Assonet and loved grandfather of Joseph D’Alfonso of Assonet. He is also survived by a niece and a nephew

Mr. Geral was the son of the late Maria deConceicao Geral. He was born in St. Michael, Azores and has lived in this area since 1967. Jose was employed by Berkshire Hathaway as a machine cleaner.
Mr. Geral’s funeral will be Thursday at 9:30 A.M. at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited.
