Albino E. Silveira

New Bedford – Albino E. Silveira, age 81 years, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. He was the husband of Cremilde G. (daSilva) Silveira of New Bedford. Mr. Silveira was the loved father of Fernanda M. and her husband Joseph A. Fumo of Fairhaven, grandfather of Shawn J. and Joshua R. Fumo. He was also the brother of the late Hilario Francisco DaSilveira,, Joao Antonio Da Silveira and Jose Antonio Da Silveira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Silveira was a son of the late Maria (deJesus) and Joao Antonio DaSilveira. He was born in Pico, Azores, Portugal and has lived in this area since October of 1969. He was employed as a conveyor belt operator at Cameo Curtains.

Mr. Silveira’s funeral will be Saturday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 8:45 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday evening from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
