Arnold L. Frias

New Bedford- Arnold L. Frias age 73 died Sunday March 4, 2012 at Tufts Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Sharyn A. (Santos) Frias of New Bedford. . Mr Frias was the father of Eric Frias of Arizona, Lynn Dessert and her husband Chris of Rochester, Michael Frias and his wife Robin of Dartmouth, Amy Frias of New Bedford. He was the brother of Raymond Frias of Acushnet , Patricia Brownell of New Bedford and the late Mary Alice Andrade. He is also Survived by 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Frias was the son of the late Bertha (Faria) and Francisco C. Frias. He was born in New Bedford and lived here all his life. Arnold worked at Brittany Dye as a Printer until his retirement and served in the United States Army. Arnold loved watching his grandsons play baseball.

Mr. Frias’ Mass with his ashes present will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Parish Saturday at 10 A.M. Relatives and Friends are invited to meet directly at Church. Burial of his ashes will take place at a later date.
