Jeanette (Desmarais) La Plante

New Bedford – Jeanette La Plante, age 66, died, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Home peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Jeanette was the loved mother of Brian La Plante of New Bedford, Michael La Plante and his wife Ana of New Bedford. She was the loving Grandmother of Lea La Plante and Avery La Plante. Jeanette was the sister of Marie Burch of Fairhaven. She is also survived by a niece and a nephew.
Mrs. La Plante was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Archambeault) Desmarais. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Sharon worked as an assembler at Johnson & Johnson until her retirement.
Mrs. La Plante funeral will be Friday at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Religious Service at 12:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery # 2. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
