Sharon J. (Costa) Cabral

New Bedford – Sharon J. (Costa) Cabral, age 52, died, Friday, February 3, 2012 at St. Luke’s hospital. Sharon was the beloved wife of Richard J. Cabral of New Bedford. Mrs. Cabral was the loved mother of Jason Costa, Daryl Cabral, Darcy Cabral and Richard Cabral all of New Bedford and the late Jamey Lynn Cabral. She was the sister of Cathy Marrotte, Joanne Costa and Carol Costa all of New Bedford and the late Wayne and George Costa. Mrs. Cabral is survived by 10 grandchildren, three of which she has been raising as her own, and several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Cabral was a daughter of Joan (Rayner) Costa of New Bedford and the late Joseph Costa. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of her life. Sharon worked as a CNA for over 20 years, most recently at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth.
Mrs. Cabral’s funeral will be Friday at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Religious Service at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours at 10-11:30A.M. prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited.
