Elsie S. (Azeredo) Dos Anjos

Dartmouth. Elsie dos Anjos, age 85, died January 16th at home, with her family by her side. Mrs. dos Anjos was the wife of the late Antonio F. dos Anjos. She was the loving mother of her daughter Juliette Baerwald and her husband Peter of Oakland, CA., and her son Antonio dos Anjos and his wife Jennifer of Swansea, MA. Elsie was the loved grandmother of Andrew and Reilly dos Anjos Seth, Hayley and Lindsey Buker.
Mrs. dos Anjos was the daughter of the late Antonia (Cordeiro) and Joao Azeredo. Elsie was born in New Bedford and was raised in São Miguel, Açores returning to New Bedford in 1947. She was a folder at Madewell Manufacturer until her retirement.

Mrs. dos Anjos’ funeral will be Saturday at 8:45 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Padanaram at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
