Steven N. Araujo

New Bedford– Steven N. Araujo, died Sun day, January 8, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Victoria C. (Melo) Araujo of New Bedford. Steven was the loved Father of Kristen L and Katelyn M. Araujo both of New Bedford. Steven was the loving grandfather of Jordan Araujo. Steven was the brother of Stacey L. Malatino-Thomas as well as uncle to Valarie M. and Ava C. Malatino.

Mr. Araujo was a son of Jose C. Araujo of New Bedford and the late Margaret (Theodore) Araujo. He was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He worked for Bay State Drywall.

Mr. Araujo’s funeral will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday at 9:30A.M .with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited.
