Christopher David Martin

New Bedford, MA. – Christopher David Martin, age 24 years, died, December 17, 2011 unexpectedly in New Bedford. He was a son of the Lucille J. (Vieira) Martin of New Bedford and the late Peter J. Martin. He was the companion of Laura Cormier and their son Jaiden James Martin of New Bedford. Christopher was the brother of James Anthony Martin of New Bedford and the late David Armand Martin.Christopher was the grandson of Rosemarie Vieira of New Bedford, Arthur Ribeiro of New Bedford, Phyllis Vieira of Acushnet and the late Charles Vieira, Jean (Alexander) and Armand J. Martin. He also leaves Michael and Theresa Cormier parents of Laura of Mattapoisett

Christopher was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all his life. He graduated from New Bedford High School. Chrisopher worked at Barden’s Boat Yard in Marion

Mr. Martin’s Funeral Service will be Saturday December 24th at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5 – 8 P.M. In accordance with his wishes he will be cremated.
