Alice (Theodore) Brazil

New Bedford – Alice Brazil age 94 years, died peacefully Thursday at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the beloved wife of the late John Brazil. Alice was the sister of the late Albert, Joseph and Anthony Theodore, Natalie Sylvia and Wilhermina Tavares. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brazil was a daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Athaide) Theodore. She was born in New Bedford and was a lifelong resident. She was a warper tie person at a textile Mfg. She also was a clerk at Cove Discount until her retirement.

Mrs. Brazil’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Saturday at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 8:45 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
