Ruth (Ferreira) Parr

Dartmouth, MA.- Ruth Parr, age 95 years, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at home with her loved ones present. She was the wife of the late Albert Edward Parr. Ruth was the loved mother of William Parr, Linda Rogers, Robert Parr, Thomas Parr all of CA. Rita Parr of Marston Mills, MA., Barbara Garcia of Dartmouth and the late Bobby Parr. Ruth was the sister of Naomi Crook of Lakeville, MA and she was pre deceased. Ruth was the loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and the late Michelle L. Silva; 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, with a special niece Naomi Wright.

Mrs. Parr was a daughter of the late Joaquim and Mary (Cabral) Ferreira. She was born in Dartmouth and lived in this area most of her life.

Mrs. Parr’s visiting hours will be Saturday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. from 1-4 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Boston Children Hospital 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA. 02115
