Marianna D. (Geronimo) Curvelo

New Bedford- Marianna D. Curvelo, age 75 years died Monday September 26, 2011 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the beloved wife of Manuel D. Curvelo of New Bedford. She was the mother of Joseph Corvelo of Fairhaven, Luis Curvelo and his wife Sonia of Fairhaven, and Duarte Curvelo and his wife Grace of New Bedford, sister of Maria Helena Pacheco of St Michael, grandmother of Tyson, Ian, Crystal, and Hayliegh. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Curvelo was a daughter of the late Alexandrina A. (Oliveira) and Jose Pacheco Geronimo. She was born in Ponta Garca, São Miguel, Açores and has lived in this area since 1976.

Mrs. Curvelo’s Funeral will be Thursday at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
