Mary Silva

New Bedford, MA.-Mary (Soares) Silva age 93years died September 21st at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the wife of Joquim Silva of New Bedford. Mary was the loved mother of Joao Silva of Wareham, Francisco Silva of Maryland, John Silva of New Bedford and the late Irondina Williams, Joseph Silva and Joaquim Silva. Mary is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren.

Mrs. Silva was a daughter of the late Rose Soares. She was born in Cape Verde Island and lived in this area since 1950. Mary was a solderer at Cornell-Dubilier Corp. until she retired.

Mrs. Silva’s Celebration of Life Remembrance will be Sunday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. from 2-5 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
