Agatha M. Mendonca

New Bedford – Agatha M. Mendonca, age 91, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mrs. Mendonca was the loving wife of the late John Mendonca.
She is survived by her son John J. Mendonca three grandchildren: Laurie, John and Christen, two great grandchildren: Nicole and John and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Mendonca was born in Oak Bluffs, Ma and lived in this area most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Victor and Mary (DeBettencourt) Oliver.

Mrs. Mendonca’s funeral will be Wednesday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 6 – 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
